Benefits to CAALA Members Case Highlights & Features Publicize Your
Case Results
As a service to its members, the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles has entered into an alliance agreement with West, a Thomson Reuters business, to provide award information on California civil jury trials, bench trials, settlements, and arbitrations.

CAALA members can:
  • Publish their verdicts, bench decisions, settlements & arbitrations in Trials Digest® and Westlaw® for free.
  • Request a full case summmary for any case we highlight or feature. One free per month. It will contain the same content that a summary on Westlaw® and in Trials Digest® contains.
  • Contact West (Trials Digest) editors at 415-344-6055 or trialsdigest@thomson.com.
West will:
  • Send, to any bar member who submits case information to West, a free copy of the Trials Digest® print newsletter in which his/her case summary is published.
  • Consider highlighting and/or featuring the case in the "L.A. Verdicts by Trials Digest" RSS Feed on CAALA's home page, and on this web site.

  • Highlights of the Week - Our attorney editors select 5 Los Angeles cases to highlight in concise one-paragaph format from the approximately 32 California cases we publish each week in full summary format.
  • Case of the Week - Our attorney editors select one case to feature in its entirety in its full summary format.
  • Top Highlights of the Year - West posts the highest Los Angeles verdicts, decisions, settlements, and aribtration results of the year in concise one-paragaph format from the approximately 1,600 California cases we publish each year in full summary format.
