Summary of Facts:
Leo Jones, a 90-year-old male, claimed he suffered a broken left shoulder in 8 pieces, broken left femur in 15 places, 7 fractured ribs on his left side, severed artery in his left arm, and 2 torn tendons in his left hand, requiring two weeks in intensive care and a lengthy rehabilitation as a result of an automobile collision in which his vehicle was struck at a controlled intersection by a vehicle allegedly operated by defendant Edward Inderrieden and insured by defendant American Family Mutual Insurance Company. The plaintiff contended that Inderrieden entered the intersection against a red light and was on his cell phone at the time of the collision. The defendants denied liability and contended Inderrieden entered the intersection on a green light. An award for past medical expenses was to be answered by the court.

Court: Circuit Court of Wisconsin, First Judicial District, Milwaukee County.
