Christopher Olson, an adult male walking on property owned by defendant Penske Truck Leasing Co. L.P. and maintained by defendant Streamline Home Improvements, L.L.C., reportedly suffered a right ankle distal fibula fracture and a partial tear of the right rotator cuff, which required surgeries, prevented him from working as a truck driver and caused a 10% permanent partial disability to his right ankle and a 10% permanent permanent partial disability to his right shoulder, when he slipped and fell due to an accumulation of snow and/or ice. The plaintiff contended that defendant Streamline Home Improvements failed to remove the accumulation of snow and ice from the property. He also contended that defendant Penske Truck Leasing Co. L.P. failed to properly repair and maintain the property.
