Susan Albers and Andrew Albers were occupants in a vehicle that was involved in a collision at the intersection of West College Avenue and North Casaloma Drive with a vehicle operated by Leah Dreyer, who was sponsored in her application for a driver's license by Karen Dreyer and Kenneth Dreyer. Leah Dryer was insured by Mid-Century Insurance Company and the Albers were insured by Badger Mutual Insurance Company. Susan and Andrew Albers filed a lawsuit against Leah Dreyer, Karen Dreyer, Kenneth Dreyer, Mid-Century Insurance Company and Badger Mutual Insurance Company. The plaintiffs alleged the collision was proximately caused by the negligence of Leah Dreyer. They also sought underinsured motorist benefits from Badger Mutual Insurance Company. The Albers sought compensation for their personal injuries, medical expenses, lost wages, and property damage. Susan Albers reached a settlement with Mid-Century Insurance Company, Leah Dreyer, Karen Dreyer, and Kenneth Dreyer in the amount of $175,000.
