Summary of Facts:
Plaintiff Jermaine Weatherspoon said he was operating a city owned tractor with a mower blade on the roadway when a tractor-trailer operated by defendant Larence Hinkley, in the scope of his employment with defendant Veritiv Operating Company, attempted to pass him from behind and struck him.
At the time of the collision, defendant Zurich American Insurance Company was the automobile liability insurance carrier for Veritiv and Hinkley.
The plaintiff claimed he suffered injuries. The plaintiff alleged the accident was caused by Hinkley's negligent driving in the course of his employment with Veritiv.
Following mediation, the parties agreed on a settlement of $75,000.
