Summary of Facts:
Plaintiff A.L., a minor female, was reportedly playing with children at the home of her neighbor, Dylan Sucharda, when she was bitten by Sucharda's dog. At the time of the incident, Allstate Property and Casualty Insurance Company was Sucharda's liability insurer.

The plaintiff claimed she suffered personal injuries due to the dog bite, which included a severe laceration to her upper lip, multiple lacerations to her left cheek and temporomandibular area and scarring to her upper lip and left cheek.

The plaintiff asserted Sucharda's negligence in failing to properly control and supervise his dog caused the dog bite incident and her resulting injuries and damages.

The parties agreed to resolve the plaintiff's claims arising from the incident in exchange for Allstate's payment of $70,000, and sought court approval of the settlement.

The court approved the settlement terms.
