Summary of Facts:
Plaintiff T.J.L., a minor, was reportedly riding his bicycle on a sidewalk along Midway Road in Menasha, Wis. The plaintiff said that as he approached Midway Road's intersection with Province Terrace, a vehicle operated by Daniel Geiger attempted to turn onto Province Terrace and struck his bicycle.

At the time of the accident, Geiger was reportedly insured with Pioneer Specialty Insurance.

The plaintiff said that he suffered personal injuries due to the collision, which included injuries to his head, shoulder and hip for which he incurred approximately $14,322 in medical expenses. The plaintiff asserted that Geiger's negligent driving caused the accident and his resulting injuries and damages.

The parties agreed to resolve the plaintiff's claims arising from the accident in exchange for Pioneer Specialty Insurance's payment of $37,500.

The parties sought court approval of the settlement and the court approved the settlement terms.
